In conversation with Michael about the new features of the datamasking tool

Michaël is a Software Developer at Enshore and deals with the Datamasking Tool. The Datamasking Tool supports customers in complying with the AVG legislation by masking personal data. Recently the Datamasking Tool has again successfully gone live at a new customer and soon multiple environments will be masked at this customer. Michaël sees it as a challenge to continuously optimize the Datamasking tool. The tool is made faster and new features and masking capabilities are added, making the tool even more efficient. For example, Michaël was recently able to mask an Oracle database multi-threadable. "That means you can run multiple update queries at the same time." In the coming period, Michael will continue to work on the further development of the Datamasker, but due to current measures, he is working from home for the time being.

For Michaël, the fun is mainly in continuing to develop a product that is of social importance and actually helping organizations with a privacy issue. Due to digitalization, companies do not always consider the possible consequences of how data is tested.  "I get a lot of energy from customers who recognize how important the careful handling of data actually is. As a result, I am constantly looking for new innovations and opportunities for the further development of this product. I believe in helping many more organizations with this issue in the coming years and we are ready to welcome future customers."
